cosmo invitations -- please help

Dear all, I am sorry to say that the cosmo invitations did not go out before Christmas as planned. I have drafted an invitation, see the google doc https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pnAKyue2fFGjEe88DoPPmPUQXRk1D7VWgUt8wsl… It would help if the invitation comes from someone the speaker knows well. Please select some speakers from the google doc to invite and put your name on the list in blue so they don't get multiple invitations (I made a first selection for some obvious ones). Feel free to edit the invitation but the second paragraph is important !! Once you get a response please: -forward the reply to the SOC. cosmo-26-soc(a)lorentz.leidenuniv.nl <cosmo-26-soc(a)mailman.lorentz.leidenuniv.nl> -change the speaker's name to green if they accepted, or cross it out if they did not. Dear all, Just a reminder that we are aiming to finalise the list of invited speakers for next summer's cosmo conference during next week THC meeting. Please provide names and ideas in the Google doc. We are aiming for ~20 invited speakers covering all topics. The names so far weigh heavily on the survey side; some more theoretical profiles would be welcome too. COSMO-26 webpage and next steps

Dear all, Just a quick message to mention we have launched the webpage with some basic information here: https://cosmo-26.lorentz.leidenuniv.nl/ Comments welcome. The event will be officially announced next Wednesday during this year's cosmo. The next deadline for all of us is the *21st of November* (THC @ Groeningen). We need to have a list of ~30 plenary speakers by then. We can then pass this list to the steering committee and start with actual invitations in the new year and end with 20 guests. Please add suggestions to the shared document. We are quite heavy on the LSS survey reporting side at the moment. Also, if you have ideas about other possible sources of funding we could use, add them to the doc as well.
