Hi all,
Here are some action items following today's cosmo-26 organisation meeting:
- Subodh: Ping Vernizzi about invited speaker invitation - Daan: Ping Simonovic about invited speaker invitation - Daan: Decide whether to invite Foreman or Pen for 21cm and send invitation. Decision left to you. - Alessandra: Invite Caprini or a replacement if one was found
Additionally, Sasaki and Shiu will be invited to complete the list of speakers. We are looking at options still for the DM topic.
-----------------
Summary: - Room are now OK but we will have to invert parallel/plenaries on Tuesday - We are working with 4 parallels. Two blocks of 1hr30 in the afternoons with coffee in between. - This gives 5 talks of (15 min + 2) + spare change per block - That is 5*4*2 = 40 parallel talks / day. Or 160 for the week (200 if we also have parallels on Friday) - We listed 10 themes that people can pick from when applying for a talk (see google doc)
We need to finalise the list of invited speakers soon so we can properly advertise the conference.
Cheers, Matthieu
Hi all,
Apologies I could not join today. For the DM topic, the options I proposed were: Mariangela Lisanti (Princeton) or Vera Gluscevic (USC). I can add Ethan Nadler (UCSD, https://eonadler.github.io/) to that list. All US-based, with the option to choose someone who is more senior (Mariangela, Vera) or more early career (Ethan just started his faculty position). I don’t know Ethan that well and I have not heard him speak, but I’ve interacted with him in the context of Rubin Observatory, and he seems excellent.
Best, Elisa

Hi Matthieu,
Filippo Vernizzi just confirmed participation. I've also initiated a registration and (as yet closed) call for abstracts section on the indico page:
https://indico.global/e/cosmo26
https://indico.global/event/15863/
(both URLs lead to the same page) I've given as most of the SOC managerial rights on Indico as they've already got accounts except for *Ema, Matthieu, Elisa, Jan Pieter, and Koen.* Could the latter please register an indico account so I can assign you managerial rights as well?
Also, we need to configure a payment form etc.
Editing on Indico is fairly self explanatory (otherwise google AI assist is your friend), so please feel free to edit/ chop/ add as you see fit.
Ana -- we agreed that secretarial help has been budgeted for and will materialize, once registration opens + payments start coming in, this is the sort of thing that needs to be outsourced to them.
Management of the abstracts will also need to be assigned to the folks we assign to chair the various parallel sessions.
All my best -- Subodh

Dear All,
I would appreciate if you suggest one (possibly two) speakers from the Netherlands (or any incidental guest) for the THC meeting in Utrecht on Mar 6, 2026.
Greetings from Taiwan, and best wishes, Tomislav
